So You Wanna Get Rid Of Your Knee Pain…

My name is Bill and about 9 years ago I dislocated my left knee 4 times over the period of 6 months.

First Time: Skiing

Second Time: Judo

Third Time: Volleyball

Fourth Time: Softball

I do have some firsthand experience of what knee pain feels like and I completely understand where you are coming from when you are experiencing pain in one or both of your knees.

At the time, I had a job in the "business world" working for a computer company and competed Judo regionally in the US. After the experience of the knee which by the way caused my ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) to tear as well as 2 pieces of cartilage. I ended up having surgery to replace the ligament in my knee that was no longer there.

This knee experience put me on a very different path in life. I have spent the last 9 years studying alternative health care approaches to helping the body get over the pain it experiences as a result of "pain in the knees." I hope to share in the context of this blog information that will help you realize that you don't have to live your life with knee pain whether you had surgery or not.

Knee pain initially sounds like a very specific topic at first. However, as we ask more questions about what is going on in the knee we find that there are many different types of knee pain. Knee pain can be in the front of the knee others in the back. Knee pain can be under the knee cap or pain can be felt above or below the knee cap. You can also feel pain on the sides of the knee (inside or outside). The more we ask and become aware of the pain that is felt in the knee the more understanding we can bring to what is actually going on in the knee to cause the pain. This understanding can actually point a direction I can help you go in to relieve the pain in your knee/s.

Bill sustained a severe knee injury over ten years ago that required reconstructive surgery on his left knee. This experience led him on a path to figure out how to relieve the pain, tension, and discomfort in his knee and the rest of his body.
